If you’re only going to go to visit the Himalayas once in your lifetime

If you are up for a challenge and have previous multi-day hiking experience

Then you need to do the Everest Three Pass Trek

Everest Three High Pass Trek is the ultimate trek for thrill-seekers and adventurers in the Everest region.

This is a physically demanding trek, so you must be physically fit, and previous trekking experience will be a bonus.

In this trek, you will not only reach the Everest Base Camp but also pass through the three highest passes in the Khumbu region:

Kongma La Pass (5,535/18,159ft)

Chola Pass (5420m/17,782ft)

Renjo La Pass (5,340m/17,520ft)

The Everest Three Pass Trek is one of the most adventurous treks in the world that takes you deep into the Everest region. You get to see what lies around Everest, how the geography elevates to give rise to the world's highest mountain.

After flying into Lukla, you will hike through stunning Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche and other equally beautiful mountain villages, filled with locals Sherpas who are famous for climbing the mountains. You will be able to experience their unique culture and lifestyle.

You will walk trough the Sagarmatha National park, whose aim it is to protect the diverse flora and faunas which lie under the Khumbu region. Here you will see the different exotic species like Musk deer, mountain goat and maybe even snow leopard. On the way you will cross many suspension bridges the region is famous for, see beautiful monasteries and stupas with colourful Buddhist flags which give life to the rough terrain of the mountains.

The first high pass you'll cross is the Kongma La pass, at 5535m. From the pass, the journey further continues down the villages such as Lobuche and Gorakshep and ultimately leads you to the base camp of Mount Everest.

You'll climb further to the highest viewpoint of the World, Kala Patthar, which offers you scenery like nowhere else as you get to witness the magical towering peaks right before your eyes. Moving forward, you'll head to the two remaining high passes, Chola and Renjo La, as you cross Dzongla, Gokyo valley, and Lunden.

You'll then head back to Namche Bazar and then to Lukla, from where a flight back leads you to Kathmandu, marking the end of your long remarkable journey.

Flying to into the Himalaya Region

Flying from Kathmandu to the Himalayas is not always an easy thing to do. Dangers with bad weather are common, therefore we recommend clients familiarise themselves with the general aviation procedures followed in the region.
