WHAT YOU WILL SEE & EXPERIENCE

The Annapurna Circuit offers an extraordinary diversity of landscapes and cultures unlike any other trek in Nepal. Beginning in the lush Marsyangdi Valley, the trail winds through traditional farming villages, cascading waterfalls, terraced hillsides, and dense forests before gradually climbing into the rugged alpine terrain of the upper Himalayas.

As you gain altitude, you'll notice a fascinating transition in both scenery and culture. The villages become increasingly influenced by Tibetan Buddhism, with ancient monasteries, colourful prayer flags, mani walls, and chortens lining the route. Friendly teahouses provide warm hospitality each evening while offering a unique insight into life in Nepal's remote mountain communities.

One of the highlights of the trek is reaching Thorong La Pass (5,416m). Crossing this spectacular mountain pass at sunrise is a challenging yet unforgettable achievement, rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views across the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.

The adventure continues with a descent into the sacred town of Muktinath, an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, before following the dramatic Kali Gandaki Gorge—one of the deepest gorges in the world. Along the way you'll enjoy spectacular views of Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, Pisang Peak, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and countless other Himalayan giants.

With every stage of the journey revealing new scenery, cultures, and unforgettable mountain vistas, the Annapurna Circuit remains one of the most rewarding trekking experiences in the Himalayas.
