Perry Sugarman

Founder & CEO / Group Leader

Profile Photo.png

Perry is an experienced adventure guide and endurance coach with a long-standing belief that meaningful challenge can unlock extraordinary potential in everyday people. His work is driven by the idea that adventure is most powerful when it is purposeful—when preparation, leadership, and experience come together to create lasting personal impact.

With over 20 years of international guiding experience, Perry has led expeditions across some of the world’s most iconic destinations. His journeys have taken clients to Mount Kilimanjaro, Everest Base Camp, Aconcagua, Mont Blanc, and Mount Elbrus, as well as through the Himalayas, South America, Europe, and the Middle East. Each expedition is carefully designed and led with a strong focus on safety, support, and respect for the environments and cultures encountered.

Perry is recognised as one of the most experienced non-Tanzanian Leader/Guides on Mount Kilimanjaro, having successfully summited the mountain more than 30 times.

He is also one of only a small number of non-Tanzanians to have completed the Kilimanjaro Gate to Summit to Gate route in under 24 hours—an achievement that reflects both his physical preparation and deep understanding of high-altitude conditions.

At the core of Perry’s approach is the belief that most people underestimate what they are capable of. Through challenge-based adventure, clients often discover resilience, confidence, and strength they didn’t know they had. Over the years, Perry has witnessed countless personal transformations, reinforcing his commitment to guiding with purpose and care.

In addition to guiding, Perry is a certified Ironman, Marathon, and Cycling Coach, with extensive experience competing in endurance events worldwide. This background allows him to support clients throughout their preparation—physically, mentally, and strategically—ensuring they arrive ready for the challenge ahead.
