Pikey Peak Trek is a less crowded and newly introduced destination in the Lower Khumbu region of Nepal.

The off the beaten route offers trekkers with an insight of Sherpa culture, tradition and lifestyles. Exploring the Buddhist monasteries, traditional Sherpa Villages and walking through the forest of pine, Rhododendron and fir are some of the significant highlights. It is suitable for everyone who wants to discover the beauty of the Khumbu region.

Pikey peak is known for breathtaking views of the eight-thousanders like Everest (8,848.86 m), Lhotse (8,516 m), Kanchenjunga (8,586 m), Makalu (8,463 m), etc.

Some people say; the closer you get to mountains, the less alluring the views will get. You have to take a step back to savor the grand panorama, and Pikey Peak is the best place for that.

The gorgeous landscapes and comfortable trekking route make Pikey Peak trekking very unique. And the best part is, that you do not have to take the overwhelming Kathmandu Lukla flight to reach the starting point of the trek. From Kathmandu, it's a 7-8 hours drive to Dhap (2850m.|9348ft.), the starting point of the Pikey Peak trek.

While trekking through the villages, you get to learn a lot about Sherpa culture and tradition. The trail also takes you across other communities like Tamangs, Rai, Limbus, Chhetri, etc. Likewise, there are stupas, prayer wheels, and prayer flags on the way. The overall journey is very impressive and offers a lifetime experience.
