ADDITIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
RIB Fjord Safari
A guided adventure into the wonders of the fjords. In the secure and rigid inflatable boats (RIB) you have the best opportunity to experience and explore the nature and wildlife at close range
When we travel up the fjord the steep mountains come closer to the fjord shores and when we enter the fjord you will probably understand why these are some of the most narrow fjord in the world. Cascading waterfalls, lush green dots of farmland around the shores gives you a feeling that you are surrounded by magnificent nature.

Folgefonna Glacier Walk
The Juklavass Glacier consists of both calm, flat ice and more challenging crevasse areas. The tour is adapted to the participators wishes and conditions. We will take a lunch break with world class panorama view of the North Sea and the Rosendal alps. Our Glacier guide will convey details about the culture, physical geography and climate.
The hike is about 5-6 km in total walking distance, and about 300-400 meters height difference.
We start by using some time to get glacier equipment and safety instructions before we set out on the glacier. Total length is 5-6 hours, means we end our adventure between 15:00 and 16:00 in the afternoon.
The hike can be adjusted for everyone. The hike can be from easy hiking with panorama view to the ice landscape and the fjord to more advanced ice climbing. Each glacier guide adjust the hike for the groups and ice/snow conditions.
Safety is always our highest concern every day, we work hard to identify and eliminate all risks to make sure the hike is safe for guests and glacier guides. This hike is a nature experience, not extreme sport.
You will need your own backpack with some extra space for glacier equipment. Included is the rental of crampons, ice-axe, harness, helm, rope, and mountain boots
