SOME AREAS WE OFFER FOR CLIMBING
Cocha Uma
The massive province of Cotopaxi runs down the western mountain of Ecuador and contains lots of great cragging. Among its most astonishing places are the beautiful Quilotoa Lagoon and a hidden gem called Cocha Uma. This last one belongs to the Zumbahua parish in the highlands, located 3 hours outside Quito, with one of the most beautiful skylines in the entire world.
This place offers 31 vertical routes with a variety of problems to climb from quality slabs, amazing arêtes, overhanging walls on crimps and cracks, to huge roofs. There are lines that go from 10 to 80 meters high that are every climbers dream or nightmare.
Santa Clara
Located 1.5 hours south of Quito in El Cantón Rumiñahui, Santa Clara is a great spot boasting about 50 routes of various difficulties and styles ranging from 5.9 to 5.13b in the Yosemite Decimal System. The routes here are tall and bolted with many options to choose from.
The setting of Santa Clara is particularly beautiful, as it is located in a sort of public nature reserve.
Sigsipamba
In the Community of Sissipamba where the wall known as Machuco is located, hidden between a green plain , a forest and a couple of houses. From it hang ropes for expert and amateur climbers.
With 31 routes to explore, this are from the 5th to 8a/8b level. There are no obstacles for the inexperienced. Machuco's structure allows beginners and even the most skilled climbers to climb it
